Add the Order Pad to your store
Put the Order Pad on a quick order page or your collection pages so signed-in B2B buyers can order many products at once at their own prices.
The Order Pad is a theme block called Order pad. It lists products as rows with a quantity field on each, at the signed-in buyer’s own catalog prices, and adds everything to the cart at once. It works on page, collection and product templates.
Choose where it goes
| Placement | Good for | Product list |
|---|---|---|
A quick order page, such as /pages/quick-order |
One place to order your whole range | A collection you choose, all products, or a product tag |
| Collection pages | Ordering by category while browsing | The collection being viewed |
| A product page | Products with many variants | A collection you choose, all products, or a product tag |
/pages/quick-order is where the wholesale bar sends signed-in buyers by default.
Add a quick order page
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store › Pages, click Add page, title it Quick order and save. Shopify gives it the address
/pages/quick-order. - Open the theme editor. In the page selector at the top, choose Pages › Create template, name it
quick-orderand base it on Default page. - Click Add section, then choose Order pad from the Apps tab.
- In the block settings, set Source. With Collection, pick the collection to list. See Order Pad settings.
- Click Save.
- Back in your admin, open the Quick order page, set its theme template to quick-order and save.
In B2B Desk, Order Pad › Add to a page opens the theme editor with the block already added, but on your default page template, which other pages share. Switch to your quick order template before saving if you only want it there.
Add it to collection pages
In B2B Desk, go to Order Pad and click Add to collection pages, or add the block to your collection template in the theme editor. Leave the block’s Collection setting empty, and the pad lists the collection being viewed.
Who sees the Order Pad
Only signed-in B2B buyers see the pad, at the prices their company location gets. Everyone else sees nothing where the block is, unless you turn on Show to visitors without a B2B account in the block settings. They then see it at retail prices.
Check that it’s live
Order Pad in B2B Desk shows an Order Pad block card with the block’s status on your published theme, such as “On your Quick order page template in the published theme.” The same page shows this month’s usage: Carts built, Saved lists and SKU lookups.
If the status isn’t Active, see Check that your storefront blocks are live.
