What the Home page shows
What each card on the B2B Desk Home page means, from the review queue and approval numbers to storefront status and catalogs.
The Home page answers two questions: is B2B Desk set up and working, and what needs you today. Its cards appear in this order.
Guided setup and setup guide
The first time you open B2B Desk, Home shows the guided setup instead of these cards, one step at a time. After you finish or skip it, Home shows the dashboard below.
Until you dismiss it, the Set up B2B Desk guide sits at the top. It tracks six tasks and ticks each one off when it detects the work is done. See Set up B2B Desk.
Banners
Home shows at most one banner, the most urgent one:
- An approval stopped partway. For example “Approval of Northwind Café stopped partway”, with “Some steps in Shopify did not finish. Open the application to retry them.” It appears when an application has been approving for more than 2 minutes without progress, and it can’t be dismissed. Click Open application, then Retry remaining steps. See Finish an approval that stopped.
- Applications are waiting more than 2 days. It reads “Approve, decline or ask for more information so buyers hear back.” You can dismiss it. It comes back when another application passes the 2-day mark.
Whenever applications are waiting, the main button at the top of the page reads Review applications.
Numbers
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Awaiting review | Applications that are New or Needs info. A badge counts the ones waiting more than 2 days. |
| Approved, last 30 days | Applications approved in the last 30 days, with the change from the 30 days before and how many approval rules handled. |
| Median time to decision | The typical time from submission to approval or decline over the last 90 days. It shows “—” until you’ve decided one. |
| Spent by approved companies | What the companies you approved through B2B Desk have spent in your store in total, with their order count, as Shopify records it on each company. |
Each number links to its details, for example Approved, last 30 days opens the Approved view of the applications list.
Needs your review
The five applications that have waited longest, oldest first. Each row shows how long it has been waiting and flags a Possible duplicate. When nothing is waiting, the card says “You’re all caught up” and offers Copy application link.
Storefront
The status of the application form, hosted application page, wholesale bar and Order Pad. See Check that your storefront blocks are live.
Catalogs
On Basic, Grow and Advanced, a meter shows how many of your three B2B catalogs are in use. On Plus it counts active catalogs and locations with a catalog assigned directly. Below that, it either reports “No pricing warnings” or links to them with Review warnings. See Read the Catalogs page.
