Change pricing, terms and tax in bulk

Move up to 250 company locations to another B2B market, assign a catalog on Plus, or update payment terms, tax and drafts, with a preview and 24-hour undo.

Updated 2 min read

Bulk actions on the Catalogs page change many company locations at once. You see exactly what will change before anything does, the change runs in the background, and you can undo the last one for 24 hours.

Select locations

Tick locations in the Company locations table, or click a row. Select all shown locations selects the current page of 50. Your selection stays when you page through, but clears when you change filters. You can act on up to 250 locations at a time.

The bar above the table shows “12 selected” and the actions.

Move to market

Basic, Grow and Advanced. Changes which B2B market, and so which catalog, the locations are in.

  1. Click Move to market.
  2. Choose a Market. Each option shows its catalog, or “No active catalog, so retail prices”, and its number of locations. No market takes the locations out of their markets: “Buyers see retail prices.”
  3. Check the Preview and click Move 12 locations.

Only markets that list specific company locations can be chosen, because that’s the list B2B Desk adds locations to. If none of yours do, B2B Desk says so, and Edit markets in Shopify takes you there.

Assign catalog

Plus. Assigns a catalog to the locations directly, replacing their market catalogs. Choose a Catalog, or No direct catalog so “The catalogs of their markets apply again.” Then click Assign to 12 locations.

Update terms and tax

Click Update terms and tax and set any of:

Setting Options
Payment terms Keep current terms, any of your payment terms, or No payment terms
Tax Keep current setting, Exempt from tax, Collect tax
Checkout Keep current setting, Submit orders as drafts for review, Let buyers check out

Then click Update 12 locations.

Preview before you confirm

The Preview lists each location’s Now and After values, and “No change” where nothing would change, for example “Net 30, taxed, direct checkout”. It sums up with “8 locations will change. Runs in the background; you can undo it for 24 hours.” If nothing would change, the confirm button stays disabled.

While it runs

A progress card shows the action with Queued, In progress, then Done, Done with errors or Failed, and counts like “8 of 12 locations updated”. You can leave the page while it runs.

If some locations fail, the card lists each with the reason from Shopify. The rest are still updated.

Undo

Click Undo on the progress card to put back what the action changed. You have until the time shown, 24 hours after it started.

  • Only the most recent action can be undone, once it has finished.
  • Undo restores only the fields that action changed: market membership, directly assigned catalogs, payment terms, tax exemption and draft orders.
  • It puts back the values from just before the action ran, for every location the action reached.
  • An undo is an action too, so you can undo it while it is the most recent one.
