Uninstall B2B Desk

What stays in Shopify and what B2B Desk deletes when you uninstall it, what to export first, and how to remove it from your store.

Uninstalling removes B2B Desk without touching the B2B setup it created. Your buyers keep their accounts, prices and terms.

What stays

  • Companies, company locations and contacts.
  • Catalogs, B2B markets and payment terms.
  • Uploaded documents in your Files.

B2B Desk’s theme blocks and app embed use Shopify’s app extensions, so they disappear from your theme with the app. There’s no code to clean up.

What’s deleted

In B2B Desk’s own words: “B2B Desk deletes its own data, including applications and saved order lists, so export your applications first if you want a copy.” Your settings, presets, rules and email templates go with it.

Before you uninstall

  1. Export applications from Settings › Data and privacy › Export. See Export your data.
  2. If buyers use the Order Pad, tell them it’s going away, and take the quick order page out of your navigation.
  3. If you use the wholesale bar to point visitors to your application page, add another link to it, such as a menu item.

Uninstall

In your Shopify admin, go to Settings › Apps, open B2B Desk’s menu and click Uninstall.

B2B Desk is free, so there’s no subscription to cancel.
